The organisation was
excellent with Noel Guiden,
Dave Brennan, Paddy Tuite,
Killian Lonergan, Gerry
McCabe, Paul Duggan looking
after things and guiding the
runners over the route.
Everybody was well looked
after with T-Shirts and
goodies etc. as well as a van
provided for the gear at the
start and also water at the
finish. The Race and
performances were analysed
later in Kavanaghs ('The
Gravediggers') and the prizes
were awarded.
The Grand-Prix Competition
was extremely exciting,
Brian Rankin returning from
injury won the handicap
scoring 20 points, with Dylan
Ahern second and as he
cleverly played his Joker, his
points were doubled to 38; Pat
Devitt was third and scores 18
points. Dylan now
takes over the leader board
and will wear the yellow
jersey in the May-Day Mile,
which Colm Doran is kindly
sponsoring. Tom Flood
will be our sponsor of the 1st
mile Grass Race in Malahide.
If anyone else would like to
sponsor a race, please contact
Noel Guiden. See you on 1st of
May.
The fastest actual times
(Grand-Prix competitors) went to Sean McDonnell with
10:02 (5 Points), William Stafford 10:07
(3 points) and Nathan Pearce with 10:20
(1 point).
