Under-Age Championships

CLONLIFFE HARRIERS was well represented
at the Championships.
The highlight of the weekend was
Colm Rooney's fine win in the National Inter-Counties
(Men's Junior) Cross-Country Championships, run
over a demanding course.
Liam O'Halloran
Colm along with Liam O'Halloran (10th
overall) was on the winning Team representing
Dublin. Lutfi Dridi was placed 20th overall. No
team result yet, but both Liam and Lutfi were
placed very highly in the Under-19s race run at
the same time.

There were some other excellent performances
from the weekend, with Christine Kennelly 7th
(Under-17 Girls), Becky Woods 15th and her twin
sister Sarah who also ran well (Under-15 Girls).

In the Boys, there were Mark
McDonald 21st (Under-13 Boys), Kip Daniels 10th and Daniel
Collins 21st in Under-17 Boys.

In the Mens Senior race, Nigel Brunton was on the scoring
Dublin Team, which was placed third behind Cork and
Donegal.
