Review 2003 National Junior and U23 Athletics Championships

  Congratulations to our Junior & U23 Squads on fine performances in Tullamore.

In the Junior Sprints: John Laffey was first in 100m (10:96) and second in the 200m. We got team second in Junior 4x400m Relay.  We won both the mens and women's 800m, Colm Rooney came first in U23 800m in an excellent 1:52.86. In the Junior womens, Nicola Fallon won in 2:12.16. Liam O'Halloran came third in the Junior mens 1500m.  Congratulations also to Eamonn Byrne on coming second in the Junior mens Discus and to Ben McIllroy on third in the U23 400m Hurdles.
